This Privacy Policy explains how JOURE Perfume processes personal data collected through the joureperfume.com website. We take the privacy of your personal data seriously and process it in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As JOURE is based in Türkiye, processing also complies with Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). For details on cookies, see our Cookie Policy.

Personal data we collect

• Contact form data: Full name, phone, email and message content. When you submit the contact form on the site, this information is forwarded to our WhatsApp line so that your request can be answered.
• Dealership / private label application data: Personal and company details you share in the application forms.
• Server (log) records: Technical data such as IP address, browser type and access time, kept automatically for security and the proper functioning of the site.
• Analytics and marketing cookie data: Collected only if you give consent via the cookie consent banner (see Cookie Policy).

Purposes of processing

• To evaluate and respond to your requests, questions and applications,
• To manage product, dealership and private label processes,
• To ensure the security of the site and resolve technical issues,
• Where you consent, to analyse how the site is used and to carry out marketing activities.

Legal basis

We process your personal data under Article 6 of the GDPR on the basis of: performance of a contract (or steps prior to it), our legitimate interests, and — for analytics/marketing cookies and international transfers — your explicit consent. For visitors in Türkiye, the corresponding legal bases in Article 5 of the KVKK apply.

Retention

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for any mandatory retention periods laid down by applicable law; once those periods expire, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Data transfers

Where you consent, your data may be transferred to providers such as Google (Google Analytics 4) and Meta (Facebook / Instagram Pixel) as part of analytics and marketing services. Because these providers’ servers may be located outside your country, such transfers are made on the basis of your explicit consent and, where applicable, appropriate safeguards. We may also share data with competent public authorities where required by our legal obligations.

Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (e.g. secure connections/SSL, access authorisation) to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, and correspondingly under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data and obtain information about its processing,
• Have inaccurate or incomplete data rectified,
• Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”),
• Restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing,
• Data portability,
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing,
• Lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
